  • Laboratory Manager and Adjunct Professor in the Biology and Environmental Science Department at the University of New Haven since 2003

  • Serves on the University Title IX Hearing Board

  • Faculty Advisor for the University of New Haven Football Team

  • Faculty Advisor for the University of New Haven Biology Club

  • Full Member of the Wallingford Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Commission

  • Member/Performer in the Wallingford Community Theatre

  • Member of the Susan Carrington Clarke chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution

  • Part-time Chaplain at Elim Park Healthcare Center in Cheshire

  • Treasurer at Mill Pond Church in Newington

 

 

Personal Life

  • 20-year resident of Wallingford, lives with husband, Joe

  • 3 children, (Wesley, Allison and Aaron) all of whom are in college

  • Our household also consists of a red-eared slider turtle named, "Myrtle", and an energetic pit-bull named, "Penny".

  • As the daughter of a 3rd grade teacher (mom) and a PhD (dad), I was raised with a passion for education.

  • In my spare time, you'll find me reading, watching movies, crafting, or spending time with family and friends.
