Vinny Cervoni was elected mayor in November of 2023, following Bill Dickinson’s forty years of successful service to the Town of Wallingford.  Prior to becoming mayor, Vinny served as chair of the Wallingford Town Council for ten years, having served on the council since January 2010. From January 2012 until 2014 he served as the Vice Chairman.

 

Mr. Cervoni has been a Practicing Attorney since 1994, having spent the last eleven years in practice at the Cervoni Law Office, LLC. Previously he was employed with Gesmonde, Pietrosimone & Sgrignari, LLC, 1994 to 2012. 

 

Vinny Cervoni has also served on the Zoning Board of Appeals from 2002 to 2004 and from 2006 to 2009. He was the President of the the New Haven County Bar, Assistant Town Attorney, Town of East Haven, Chair, Board of Directors of Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters, Assistant Secretary-Treasurer, Connecticut Bar, Chair, Young Lawyers Section, Connecticut Bar Association, President, Board of Directors, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Meriden/Wallingford.
